  Anthony Weymouth McLeod

Currently the national manager of operations for the NZ police department.  Tony McLeod is believed to be the principle author of the failed police policy to reclassify sporting semi-automatic firearms as MSSAs.   Bob Harvey

Currently Mayor of Waitakere City (soon to be disestablished.) Bob wanted to ban the Auckland gun fair from council facilities because he believed it sent the "wrong message." When questioned by the NSA as to what the 'message" was and what was the 'wrongness' of it, Bob was unable to provide an answer. Notably the Mayor does not have the jurisdiction to  determine the use of Council facilities.

Keith Locke

Keith is a supporter of oppressive firearms laws in NZ in line with his Green party gun control policy. These include universal registration of all "weapons" by people holding a firearms certificate for the stated purpose of assisting police with investigating gun crime. It is uncertain how many criminals hold a firearms certificate and how many criminals would comply with registration to assist police in investigating crimes committed by themselves.

  OXFAM

Oxfam international are a charitable organisation that also use donations to further the cause of oppressive gun control. The NSA endorses the charitable work done by OXFAM but opposes the use of donations for antigun campaigning

Barry Coats. NZ Executive Director of Oxfam

Tony Wall

NZ Journalist from TV2's local investigative show Illegal NZ which looked at the illegal trade of firearms in NZ.

It is not fully understood if Mr Wall is actually anti-gun or more just pro-sensational reporting on a subject that  can draw emotional responses from people who lack proper understanding of firearms.
